Familiar foes clash again in Yaddo Stakes

Gitchee Goomie and Hessonite will renew their rivalry when they top a
field of seven New York-bred fillies and mares in Friday's $150,000
Yaddo Stakes at Saratoga. Friday's entire card is made up of races

Wise Dan back to turf for Fourstardave

Only two of Wise Dan's 16 career starts have been on turf, but one was
a victory -- in the Grade 2 Firecracker -- and now the gelding is back
on turf for the first time in 2012. Trainer Charlie Lopresti says Wise
Dan may be better on turf. "He had a monster breeze on turf last
time," he said.

FBI: Page Died Of Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound


Wade Michael Page, the shooter in the Sikh temple tragedy in Wisconsin, died
from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head after he was shot in the
stomach by a responding officer, authorities said Wednesday. Police previously
said that he was shot to death by an officer responding to the attack in Oak
Creek on Sunday.
