Temporary June closures at Bandera and Ranger Creek State airports
OLYMPIA – Summer construction work will temporarily close runways in June at both Bandera and Ranger Creek State airports.- Bandera State Airport: Runway 08/26 will close for repairs beginning June 10, and re-open 6 a.m. on June 14.
- Ranger Creek State Airport: Runway 15/13 will close for repairs from 6 a.m., June 17, to 6 p.m. June 20. Closures will resume the following week from 6 a.m. June 24, to 6 p.m. June 27.
Pilots should check Notices to Airmen for updates.
Bandera is located about 14 miles east of North Bend and Ranger Creek is located in the White River Valley, close to Mount Rainier. They are two of 16 airports managed by the Washington State Department of Transportation.
